New update – new features: IMARIS 6.3

Maximizing the performance of 3D & 4D image analysis software

Bitplane is pleased to announce the release of IMARIS 6.3, a revised and enhanced version of the existing 3D & 4D image visualization and analysis software.

This new, updated version IMARIS 6.3 allows faster zoom-in and zoom out of images in both 2D and 3D. It also is the first software on the market to allow for smooth zooming and panning for huge images in 3D (like Google maps/earth does in 2D). These improvements greatly enhance the usability and interactivity for the customer and their data. The usability of the snapshot function, one image export option, has been improved and now contains a preview. With the FilamentTracer module it is now possible to color code segments, to have branch level statistics, and to have filaments for all time points within one object. The new features of IMARIS 6.3 also include performance improvements; 15 % faster image processing, five times improvement in resample 3D, improved performance of crop 3D. Additionally, new file readers are available and object filter dialogs with both upper and lower thresholds are avaiable.
